Vick and Kate

^The version I drew in late hours last night.
Note she has a mouth in this one. I'm not sure where it went...

Alright so the girl's a secretary, and she works hard at her job, and gets paid probably less than she should be getting. Then of course this guy comes strutting in one day wearing a classy pinstripe suit, waste coat, and nice tie like he owns the place, come to basically claim some sort of job with them. Naturally he just drives her crazy and knows it, with his constant flirting and stupid remarks, but one night their boss throws a big party and there's this guy there with a voice like Frank Sanatra playing the piano and he offers her his hand before she's knows it she's reluctantly accepting and they start dancing then...

I'll let you use your imaginations, but in MY version that's when the zombies raid the house leaving death, destruction and anguish in their wake.

But I promised a cheerful backstory, so ignore that last bit if you'd like.

The guy's name is Victor Monroe and the girl's name is Katelyn Vente.

Doctor Who Fan Art

To those of you out there who feel strangled by the world's uncoolness, and just want a sane, understanding person to talk to, well, I'm here for you. We've probably seen all of the same tv shows, read all of the same books, seen all of the same movies. Just flip on the bat signal and I'll be at your side within minutes.

Anyway, that having been said, this is the current Doctor from Doctor Who. I did him on my math paper this morning.

...Bowties are cool.

Julie.

Real quick--This is the girl I just finished a few hours ago.

Unfinished...

I'm just posting to prove that I haven't forgotten all of you. And to show that I have indeed been drawing!
I've done a couple of paper things, but I haven't scanned them yet. I'm working on this cute blonde girl, but I haven't finished her yet. And I'm doing this couple above, but again--It's not finished.
Oh, so funny story. I got this book called "Fashion Drawing for Dummies." It's about fashion illustration--You know, those models with tiny heads and extremely disproportionate long legs? I've been exploring that a bit. It's kind of really fun and, believe it or not, helps understand how bodies are supposed to look.

Lost is bugging me to change the background from the wintery scene, since it's not Christmas anymore, so that'll be different again before too long. I love changing the background! There are so many OPTIONS! O_O

I want to draw another picture of Loki, so that might come up at some point. Or not. I have a record for not drawing what I say I'm going to draw.

Preston Ghost

While rocking out to 'Bleeding Out' and 'Demons' and 'The Fallen' by Imagine Dragons all afternoon and I was compelled at some point to go over this guy. I'm telling you, the music controls my pen!!!

Right, so, Preston Ghost. Poor guy, something happened when he was just a kid and he somehow ended up with a nasty scar, traumatized, and parentless. The other kids avoid him and he's silent in school. After the incident when he was a kid the Head Detective Inspector Allan Fleck looked after him for a while then got the kid his own apartment in the same flat that he was in and got him a German Shepherd. He's now 14-16 yrs old and is often seen walking with his dog through the streets of Hilton Village, silently avoided.

...FINISHED Drawing

Here they are in the compléter.

I'm still not sure.

BUT I AM SURE OF ONE THING. These three are kleptomaniacs. Yes, the bitter, horrible truth. Nicked my favorite pencil as soon as I turned my back on them, they did. If you leave their company still in possession of your jewelry, watch, wallet, phone and keys, that just means the guy to the right had a rolex or something.

Maybe more on them later.

Unfinished Drawing

I'm not really sure who these guys are yet. The dude on the far left is going to have blonde hair and silver eyes, the dude in the middle will have black hair and black eyes with flecks of gold, and the dude on the far right is going to have auburn/red hair with CRAZY bright blue eyes.

Sorry if they're creepy. I was listening to that song from the Hobbit movie, (Misty Mountains or something?) and this is what happened.

Happy, er... Thursday!

My Tablet has been renamed.

That's right, folks!

What, you thought you'd get a drawing? DREAM ON. This is a news broadcast, announcing that my Tablet, hitherto known as Foaly, renamed himself in a fit of petulance.
Evelyn's tablet is named ARThur.
Mine is named MERlin.

That's right! Oh, it wasn't my idea. It was MERlin's.
I will NOT be titling all my posts MERlin. I will merely be referring to him with said name.
So, a brief wrap up: MERlin. Not Foaly. The A.F.F.C--(Artemis Fowl Fan Club, of which I was president, and no, I was not the only member,) became extinct after the unsatisfactory ending of the last book, so I see no further point in having a tool named after a character in AF.

MERlin.
Oh, YES.

This person started out as a girl, so if your first reaction was "MAN. That is one ugly chic," or "Sheesh,  that's one girly dude," or "HIS NECK. IT'S WAY TOO LONG," well, those were mine too, while it slowly morphed into this dude from a book I'm reading.
If the eyes really are windows into the soul, then all of my characters must be clinically depressed zombies or something. Anyway, this guy isn't really at all what I picture the dude in the book to look like, but this is sort of how they describe him.

Hopefully he'll just grow up to look like Cristian Bale so I won't have to worry about him anymore.
Tata!

Owen and Sharpie...

Well, I couldn't think of a backround to slap onto this picture, so I just left it blank.

These two characters are Sharpie and Owen. At least, I think it's Sharpie and Owen. I hadn't planned on bobbing her hair in the story itself, but I keep drawing her with this hairdo.
I guess I should just cut her hair already; she can just grow it out again if I don't like it.

Anyway, tell me what y'all think!

Raven Calyr, background 1.

Well, here's one of the backgrounds I'm trying. I might delete it and try a different one, I don't know yet.
Anyway, basically her backstory is that she's this gal, daughter of this Duke guy, and she's sent off to Camelot. Before you ask, no, I did not make up the plot, it was Lost, so if you have issues about the whole Merlin/Camelot bandwagon, take it up with her. We aren't writing fanfiction. It's not a copyrighted time period. Hundreds of people wrote about the greek myths before Rick Riordan came along.

Anyway, school has started back up again for me, so it's early to bed, early to rise. At least, it's supposed to be. It's actually late to bed, early to rise, and then spend the day half awake, not fully recovering until 9 at night. I don't sleep enough.
Hem.
Excuse me, I'm stalling.

Halfway through!

There's something about an alarm clock that makes me want to kill all electronics.

So I'm currently drawing this girl.

I haven't got the background on yet, But I think this is a picture of my newest character, Raven Calyr. Ain't she purdy?
My older brother was all mad at me because when he first saw the sketch, there was a guy in it. Then he (brother) went away, and while he was gone I erased the sketch of the guy, so now it's just her. He says I don't draw guys enough, but that's because girl hair is more fun to do.
I'm thinking I'm going to put a castle in the background, with maybe a lake and perhaps a dragon flying around in the sky. Or maybe not. I don't know.
Okay, I need feedback about the skin tone, people. So, if you have figured out the comments, and it's humanly possible for you to do so, leave me a comment on your HONEST OPINION of the skin's color, etc. Do not spare my feelings. Is she blushing too much? Should I have made her skin more even? Tell me your thoughts!

Elf Princess

My hand is cramping, my eyes are sore, and I'm really hungry, but I think it was worth it. This is some elven prinncess gal. Don't really know, actually. But hey, she's got cool hair. That's enough for me.

Lost here still.
So, here she is. I couldn't decide whether or not I liked her with the hat. For some reason her skin looks better in that one though... UGH. I'm cursed to never post nice looking skin for the rest of my life.

Anyway, they still aren't perfect, but I have to use the bathroom REALLY badly and I haven't eaten anything yet and it's already 12:24, so tata!

ARThur

Lost here.
So this took me forever. But not nearly as long as you might think.

I MIGHT post the whole picture sometime, but don't count on it because it was a request, so it's a portrait of someone I know and she might not want me to post the whole thing.
But here are her eyes, and so far they're my favourite thing I've done on this one. She was very specific about how she wanted them, hopefully they'll live up to her expectations.

Anyway, tata!
